The Ashleigh Guest accommodation was built in the 1890's and consists of 9 ensuite letting bedrooms, a guest lounge, sun lounge, front garden and dining room for guest use.
Pre-Arrival
Our ground floor twin and single room are suitable for those with minor mobility impairment but due to the dining room being downstairs we do not consider The Ashleigh suitable for those with serious mobility restrictions and who are solely reliant on a wheelchair. The Ashleigh does not have disabled facilities in the bedrooms or guest area's.
Free Wi Fi internet access is provided for those travelling with their own equipment.
Transport in Paignton is very good with the options of buses, trains and taxi's.
Arrival & Car Parking Facilities
There are three private car parking spaces available to the rear of the property with public parking available to the side and front of the property. Guests can be dropped off close to the accommodation and help with luggage will be available. Access to the accommodation is via a set of graduated steps rather than steep stairs. We are NOT responsible for arranging your Parking, please check our Parking Page
Main Entrance, Reception
On entering the Ashleigh into the sun lounge you then enter our main reception area. You will be shown to your room and assistance with your luggage is available on request. You will be asked to complete an arrival form, and given our pre-order breakfast forms to complete before 8pm each evening of your stay.
Public Areas
The dining room is open from 8.30am - 10am and is located through the fire door and down two small flights of stairs. The guest lounge and sun lounge are open to guests at all times and are located on the ground floor.
Guest Bedrooms
All of our ensuite rooms are well appointed and are decorated in neutral colours. All rooms are equipped with remote control Freeview tv's, heating, hair dryer, luggage rack, fans, blinds & curtains. A combination of overhead lights are fitted in all rooms.
Shower-room & WC [En suite]
All accommodation is ensuite with wash hand basin toilet and shower cubicle.
Room Servicing
We service all rooms once a day, replenishing refreshment trays & toilet rolls, making of bed and checking of towels. We do not tidy any personal belongings, including clothes, hairdryers, make up etc. Staff will not make up beds if not clear of all personal belongings
Outdoor Facilities
We have a front facing garden and a sun deck for guests to use, these are the only two areas where smoking is permitted and we request you use ashtrays provided, please DO NOT smoke in the doorways.
Additional Information
Evacuation procedures are posted in each bedroom, please make yourself aware of the procedures. Interlinked smoke detectors are fitted in all rooms throughout the building and fire extinguishers are located on each floor.
For your safety and along with regulations there is no smoking allowed anywhere inside the building.
We do not accept pets due to Lesley's severe allergies.
